Top Tips for our 12 Week Challenge

With your Bikini Body Burn family and our fitness guides, you have all the tools at your disposal to look and feel better over the next 12 weeks.

Remember to register HERE and familiarise yourself with the rules, terms and conditions, as it's less than a week until it all kicks off.

So how should you prepare?

Firstly, the mental game.

You're going to be facing lots of emotions. You are going to be excited to see results, and keen to change, at the very beginning. However, you have to be prepared in the knowledge that everybody sees results at different times and in different places. The key to remember though, as long as you are patient and you stick to the plan, the results will come. Check out our recent blog on when to expect to see results.

Secondly, go food shopping.

Food preparation is a huge key to success! Make sure you have gone shopping and you have the right foods on hand when you need them. It is when you are hungry, and when convenience takes over, that poor choices are made. Avoid temptation by having the right foods in the house is important, but it is equally important to rid the temptation of bad food from the house. If it isn’t in the cupboard than you are a lot less likely to eat it.

Thirdly, do the challenge with friends.

Having support around you works wonders and it is a huge motivation to know you have people close to you going through the same thing. By utilising Social Media you'll connect with thousands of girls going through the same thing you are, with everyone posting their progress and experiences and supporting one another.

Fourthly, don’t let the haters get you down.

There are going to be people that don’t want to see you succeed. Unfortunately that is human nature. From nasty Instagram messages, to a work mate giving you a hard time for your healthy choices. Remember, it says more about what is going on in their lives than what you are doing; so don’t let it get to you!

Fifthly, don't dwell on your mistakes. 

There is probably going to be a time where you fall off the wagon. It may be a few bad food days in a row, or you might miss a couple of workouts. You might even get sick, but the important thing to remember is all is not lost. A few poor days over 12 weeks is not going to matter, just start fresh the next day!

And six, have fun!

The most important thing of all is to have fun! You are becoming a healthier version of yourself, so don’t place to much pressure on yourself. Exercise is good for you and it makes you feel amazing, so much sure you take the time to feel that way.
